Illegal re-opening of closed tracks

On Mt Coot-tha, steep downhill trails provide the thrill for off-road cyclists, but at great cost to the vegetation. These slopes have fragile soils.

The bare ground of the illegal trails gets wider and wider with more use, creating more erosion and bare ground when it rains.
